US launches its first double-reverse sunset review of polyester textured yarn
On December 2, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued an announcement to initiate the first anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation against Polyester Textured Yarn imported from China and India. At the same time, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) launched the first anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review industrial damage investigation on polyester textured yarn imported from China and India, reviewing whether the import of the products involved will continue or recur if the current anti-dumping and countervailing measures are cancelled, within a reasonably foreseeable period. Stakeholders should register with the U.S. Department of Commerce for responding to the lawsuit within 10 days from the date of this announcement. Stakeholders should submit responses to the U.S. International Trade Commission by January 2, 2025, and submit comments to the U.S. International Trade Commission on the adequacy of the responses in the case no later than February 12, 2025.
On November 8, 2018, the U.S. Department of Commerce launched a double-reverse investigation into polyester textured yarn imported from China and India. On November 14, 2019, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued a final anti-dumping and countervailing ruling on polyester textured yarn imported from China and India.
