ICE cotton futures market mixed

ICE cotton futures market was mixed, but mostly lower. Contract of Dec closed at 70.87cent/lb, down 0.06cent/lb and contract of Mar closed at 72.74cent/lb, up 0.01cent/lb. US cotton export sales were plain and export shipments continued to reduce. There was no big reaction on the market.

Cotlook A Index rose by 0.5cent/lb to 81.5cent/lb.
