Pakistan makes preliminary anti-dumping ruling on polyester filament yarn from China

On November 14, 2024, the State Tariff Commission of Pakistan issued the latest announcement in Case No. ADC65/2024, making a positive preliminary anti-dumping ruling on Polyester Filament Yarn originating in or imported from China, and initially ruled that a temporary anti-dumping duty of 2.13% to 20.78% should be imposed on the product involved (see the attached table for the tax rate). The measure will take effect from the date of publication of the announcement and will be valid for four months. The Pakistan tax numbers of the products involved are 5402.3300 and 5402.6200. Unless otherwise postponed, the final ruling will be made within 180 days from the date of issuance of the preliminary ruling.

Stakeholders may submit a hearing application within 30 days of the announcement.
