Xinxiang Chemical Fiber starts installation of regenerated cellulose fiber pilot line

On November 11, Xinxiang Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. successfully held a ceremony to launch the equipment installation of the 1kt/yr regenerated cellulose fiber pilot R&D project. In 2018, the company officially signed a technical cooperation agreement on the research and development of ionic liquid regenerated cellulose fiber with the team of Academician Zhang Suojiang of the Institute of Process Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. From one spindle and one silk to the smooth start of the 100 tons/yr of demonstration line, and now the installation of the 1kt/yr pilot research and development project, the company's scientific research team has been unremittingly testing and exploring for six years, and successfully independently developed and launched a new concept of regenerated cellulose fiber production process equipment that uses a new green and environmentally friendly ionic liquid as a solvent for the first time and obtained an invention patent.
