By the week ending Jun 16, 90% of cotton crops have been planted, up 10% from Jun 9, 3% from a year ago, and down 1% from five-year average. 22% of the crops is squaring, up 8% from previous week, up 5% from a year ago, 4% from five-year average, according to USDA. 6% of crops is setting bolls.
Crop condition is 2 percent very poor, 11 percent poor, 33 percent fair, 47 percent good and 7 percent excellent.
