Sri Lanka's apparel exports in Mar increases by 7.72% year on year

Sri Lanka's "Morning News" reported that according to statistical data, Sri Lanka's apparel exports in Mar amounted to 418.33 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 7.72%.

According to data from the Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF), compared to the same period last year, Sri Lanka's apparel exports to EU countries in March 2024 increased by 5.62%, by 11.93% to the UK, by 34.26% to other countries, and decreased by 2.81% to the United States.

From Jan to Mar 2024, Sri Lanka's apparel exports decreased by 0.69% year-on-year; exports to the United States decreased by 5.11%, by 1.52% to the EU, increased by 8.94% to the UK, and increased by 3.02% to other countries.
