Scheduled and unplanned PX plant shutdowns recently

Zhongjin Petrochemical has shut its 1.6 mln mt/yr PX plant unexpectedly on Apr 16. The plant is earlier slated to shut in May for 45-day maintenance, and now the company decides to implement the scheduled maintenance in advance.

On Apr 16, Hengli shut one reformer as scheduled for maintenance, and one 2.5 mln mt/yr PX line was also shut on Apr 16 for maintenance lasting 10 days.

Earlier on Apr 15 evening, ZPC shut one reformer, and one 2 mln mt/yr PX line was also shut for 10 days. Another 2 mln mt/yr PX line had been shut on Mar 30 for 40-day maintenance.
