ICE cotton futures market went lower amid an inflationary CPI which rallied the U.S. dollar and sent the Dow lower. Contract of May closed at 85.31cent/lb, down 0.73cent/lb and contract of Jul closed at 87.07cent/lb, down 0.77cent/lb. Currently, supply is sufficient, and with no adequate demand, the market is hard to rise. USDA's Apr supply and demand report is awaited.
Cotlook A Index reduced by 0.50cent/lb to 92.15cent/lb.
