ICE cotton futures market keeps down

ICE cotton futures market kept down as a firmer U.S. dollar overshadowed a weekly federal report showing higher export sales. Exports of 2021/22 U.S. upland cotton were 53.9kt, up 53% from previous week, and 27% from prior 4-week average. Contract of Dec closed at 92.51cent/lb, down 0.86cent/lb and contract of Mar closed at 91.80cent/lb, down 0.82cent/lb.
Cotlook A Index declined by 0.25cent/lb to 103.05cent/lb.
