Vietnam’s textile and apparel exports increase 12% year-on-year in Jul

According to a report by Voice of Vietnam on August 11, the General Department of Customs statistics show that Vietnam's textile and apparel exports in July reached nearly $4.3 billion, marking a 12% year-on-year growth and the highest level since August 2022. From January to July, the cumulative textile and apparel exports amounted to nearly $24 billion, a year-on-year increase of about 6%. Vietnam now exports textiles and apparels to 113 countries and regions, with major markets including the United States, the European Union, Japan, South Korea, and China. The annual export target is set at $44 billion.
