China PP plant maintenance schedule from Mar-Jun

As the annual petrochemical plant turnaround season approaches, based on incomplete statistics from CCFGroup, the current production capacity undergoing maintenance in March is 3.37 million tons/year, and in April, it is 1.32 million tons/year.

Note: This figure only involves planned maintenance.

As shown in the figure above, in the first half of 2024, the turnaround season will gradually begin from late March, with most maintenance periods lasting over 20 days, with the longest reaching up to 60 days. The maintenance of multiple petrochemical plants may help alleviate supply pressure in certain regions. Traders are recommended to make relevant replenishment in advance according to their own needs.
