Nylon modified plastic demand improves in Mar

Modified engineering plastic (short as MP) demand is improving in March 2024. As MP plants reflect, inventory in the first week of the month is reducing. Downstream order taking is healthy. But as nylon 6 and nylon 66 polymer prices have been volatile recently, downstream mainly procure feedstock at need-to basis.

The operating rate of MP plants is rising upward. Large MP plants are mainly running at around 80-100%, and medium-small-plants are running higher around 70%.
