Shandong Rui'an Biotechnology's 55kta BDO project progress

During March 14-15, 2023, the 55kt/year BDO project of Shandong Rui'an Biotechnology Co., Ltd., which is contracted by Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd., has passed the examination of the model of 30% of the equipment and 60% of the tank area of raw materials.

This review mainly focuses on the equipment layout, boundary contacts, key equipment pipelines, hoisting and maintenance of large equipment, catalyst loading and unloading, fire control and operation channels of the BDO plant one by one. The equipment layout, pipe pier and pipe rack setting, main pipeline, pipe orifice orientation, ladder platform, valve operation and maintenance of the tank area are reviewed.

The successful completion of this model review lays a solid foundation for the follow-up design work. Rui'an Biotechnology has started up the 60kt/year biodegradable PBAT plant in Mar 2022.
