Yulin Kaiyue’s methanol to ethanol plant gets approved

The methanol to ethanol project of Yulin Kaiyue Coal Chemical, subsidiary of Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group, gets approved recently. The project is located in Yulin City of Shaanxi Province, based on syngas and methanol as feedstock from existing units. It adopts its own DME route to produce ethanol.
