Dongyuan Technology, leading BDO company, to construct NMP project

Inner Mongolia Dongjing Bio-Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dongyuan Technology Group, signed an investment cooperation agreement with Inner Mongolia Jet Technology Co., Ltd. to complement each other's advantages and work together to jointly invest in the construction of new materials industry projects on BDO downstream sector on February, 2023.
 

According to the agreement, Dongjing Bio-Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. and Jiete Technology Co., Ltd. jointly established Inner Mongolia Jiete Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd., to build 100,000 tons of N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP) project. NMP is not only an important downstream product of BDO, but also one of the main raw materials of lithium-ion battery. The construction of the project will become an important part of the extended chain of Dongyuan Technology Group, which will promote the development of BDO integration project to a more refined, finer and deeper direction in Dongyuan Technology.

On November 24, 2022, the 280kt/year BDO project of Dongjing Bio-Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. successfully started operation, producing high-grade products with a purity of 99.91%. This marks that Dongyuan Technology has become the world's largest integrated BDO production base with 380kt/year of BDO capacity.
