Shenma to construct 20KTA nylon 66 textile filament project

On February 14, 2023, Shenma Industrial Co., Ltd. has signed project investment agreement with the management committee of the development zone, at the signing ceremony of the investment promotion project of Pingdingshan Nylon New material Development Zone in 2023.

"Nylon 66 has more advantages in color fastness and elasticity, and is more suitable for outdoor sports, yoga clothing and other products.", the relevant technical personnel of the project said. The project fills the gap in nylon 66 textile filament and lays new fundation for further development of nylon 66 textiles and apparels.

The project is expected to have a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan and covers an area of 110mu, with an annual output of 20,000 tons of differentiated nylon 66 functional fiber. 

The project is divided into two phases, with an investment of 523 million yuan in the first phase, a construction scale of 7000 tons of nylon 66 differentiated textile filament and supporting public devices. The first phase of the project is expected to achieve an annual income of 345 million yuan.

The project is scheduled to start construction in the first quarter of 2023 and be completed and complete and put into production in February 2025. The raw material is nylon 66 chips produced by Henan Shenma Engineering Plastics Technology Co., Ltd.

Nylon 66 has the advantages of high melting point and slippery handle, so it is more suitable for manufacturing heat-resistant products and high-grade clothing fabrics. at the same time, because of its tight crystallization and high density, nylon 66 can effectively prevent down drill, suitable for down jacket, duvet and so on.
