Vietnam initiates mid-term review investigation on China-related polyester filament yarns during the anti-dumping period
On December 30, 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued Resolution 2954/QD-BCT to launch an anti-dumping mid-term review investigation on polyester filament yarns imported from China, India, Indonesia and Malaysia to examine whether the current anti-dumping duties should be adjusted. This case involves products under Vietnam tax No. 5402.33.00, 5402.46.00 and 5402.47.00.

On April 6, 2020, Vietnam launched an anti-dumping investigation into polyester filament yarns imported from China, India, Indonesia and Malaysia. On September 1, 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued Resolution 2080/QD-BCT, which made a positive preliminary ruling on the case and initially ruled to impose provisional anti-dumping duties on the products involved. On October 13, 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued Resolution 2302/QD-BCT, which made a final affirmative ruling on the case and formally imposed anti-dumping duties on the products of the above-mentioned countries. Among them, the tax rate of Chinese products involved is 3.36%-17.45%.
