China's retail sales of textiles and garments drop in Oct' 22

China's retail sales value of consumer goods totaled 4.0271 trillion Yuan in Oct 2022, down 0.5% year on year. Of the total, retail sales of garments, footwear, hats and knitwear scored at 115.48 billion Yuan in Oct, down 7.5% year on year.

During Jan-Oct 2022, the retail sales of consumer goods amounted to 36.0575 trillion Yuan, up 0.6% year on year. Of the total, retail sales of garments, footwear, hats and knitwear scored at 1.0414 trillion Yuan in Jan-Oct, down 4.4% year on year.

In Oct, the retail sales of garments of enterprises above designated size was 83.86 billion Yuan, down 9.2% year on year; that in Jan to Oct amounted to 739.12 billion Yuan, down 5.5% year on year.
