China's retail sales of consumer goods in Aug, 2022

China's retail sales value of consumer goods totaled 3.6258 trillion Yuan in Aug 2022, up 5.4% year on year. Of the total, the retail sales of consumer goods of enterprises above designated size reached 1.4018 trillion Yuan, up 9.3% year on year.

In Aug 2022, the retail sales of goods of enterprises above designated size reached 1.3050 trillion Yuan, up 9.1% year on year, with that of garments, footwear, hats and knitwear scored at 96.3 billion Yuan, up 5.1% year on year.

In Jan-Aug 2022, the retail sales of consumer goods amounted to 28.2560 trillion Yuan, up 0.5% year on year. Of the total, retail sales of garments, footwear, hats and knitwear scored at 820.6 billion Yuan, down 4.4% year on year.
