Biodegradable plastic enterprise Dawn Polymer releases H12022 company report

On the evening of August 24, Shandong Dawn Polymer Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred as Dawn Polymer) released its semi-annual report for 2022, the company achieved revenue of 2.262 billion yuan, up 16.77% year-on-year. The net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 92.618 million yuan, down 15.99% year-on-year.

Regarding the biodegradable business, Dawn Polymer indicated that it would accelerate the construction of PBAT project and advance steadily according to the established plan, while actively explore the upstream field, open up the whole industrial chain of upstream raw materials, midstream modified biodegradable materials and downstream biodegradable packaging products, realizing the integrated layout from source to products.

Dawn Polymer will continus to consolidate the research and development and sales of modified degradable materials to maintain the leading edge of technology. It has developed biodegradable high melt strength PBAT and PLA, and accelerated the marketing and sales of biodegradable film modifier.

Its biodegradable modified PBAT material obtained European DIN certificate, American BPI and Australian ABA certificate, and was awarded GRS global recycling standard recognition qualification certificate.

According to the announcement, Dawn Polymer's 120,000 tons/year full biodegradable plastic PBAT project (Phase I) has accumulated a total investment of RMB 160 million by the end of the reporting period.
