Sinopec Maoming PC caught fire, LDPE plant closed

On June 8, the intermediate tank of the aromatics unit of the Sinopec Maoming PC's ethylene plant caught fire. 

Sinopec Maoming has the production capacity of 670kt/year PP plant and 930kt/year PE plant. The 250kt/year new LDPE plant of Sinopec Maoming PC has shut due to the fire on Jun 8. The plant has been just restarted on Jun 7, and it was shut on Jun 6.
