Sateri Nonwovens (Liyang) plant officially put into operation

On January 10, 2022, Sateri Nonwovens (Liyang) plant with 49kt/yr capacity officially started production, and the first parallel laying spunlace nonwovens line was put into operation. It is the company’s third nonwovens plant after the ones in Jiujiang and Xinhui, marking a new chapter in Sateri's nonwovens business development and a new milestone in Sateri's industrial development and sustainable development. The President Zhang Wentao, Vice President Liu Tao, Nonwovens Business Vice President Chen Zhe and other colleagues from Sateri witnessed the commissioning ceremony in the workshop together.

Sateri's nonwovens business is an extension of the existing forestry, pulp, paper and fiber integrated industry chain of the parent company-RGE Group, and is new business developed by utilizing existing advantageous resources. Sateri’s nonwovens use natural degradable wood fiber as raw material, having a full range of spunlace nonwovens production and R&D capabilities, and achieving full coverage of various mainstream processes. The company can produce plain weave, perforated, jacquard, printing and other styles of products, which can meet diverse needs and can be widely used in personal care, beauty and skin care, medical and health, and industrial fields.

With total investment of 2.05 billion yuan and planned construction area of 345mu, Sateri Nonwovens (Liyang) plant will be built in three phases. After the project is completed, it will become a world-leading spunlace nonwovens plants that can provide more than 1,000 jobs. Sateri Nonwovens will continue to devote itself to advanced technology, green products and modern management, promote the development of the industry in the direction of green, natural and environmental protection, to be market-oriented and customer-oriented as the goal, serving the and benefiting the society.
