Turkey makes the first anti-dumping sunset review final judgment on polyester synthetic filament yarn originated from China, India and Malaysia

On Jan 9, 2021, Turkish Ministry of Trade released NO. 2021/1 notice and made the first anti-dumping sunset review affirmative final adjudication on the polyester synthetic filament yarn originated from China, India and Malaysia. It decided to continue imposing anti-dumping tariff on the polyester synthetic filament yarn originated from China, India and Malaysia for another 5 years: $0.25-0.30/kg for those from China, $0.15-0.17/kg for those from India and $0.15-0.17/kg for those from Malaysia. The subjected products is under Hs code 5402.47 in Turkey, and the announcement shall take effect from the date of promulgation. The specific tariff is shown as following:

On Apr 26, 2013, Turkey launched anti-dumping investigation on the polyester synthetic filament yarn originated from China, India and Malaysia. Final ruling on anti-dumping was made on Oct 16, 2014. On Jul 12, 2017, the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Turkey issued notice No. 2017 / 17 to make a final mid-term review of the products involved in the above-mentioned three countries during the anti-dumping period and raised the anti-dumping duty of the polyester synthetic filament yarn originated from China by $0.25/kg and $0.30/kg. On August 4, 2019, the Ministry of Trade of Turkey issued notice No. 2019 / 23 to launch the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on polyester synthetic filament yarns originating from China, India and Malaysia.
