Xinwu Textile holds groundbreaking ceremony for 110kt/yr of natural fiber project

On November 12th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 110kt/yr of natural fiber project of Xinwu Textile was held in Wujiang High-tech Zone (Shengze Town).

Wu Mengchao, General Manager of Xinwu Textile Co., Ltd., introduced that the total investment for the 110kt/yr of natural fiber project of Xinwu Textile is 1.1 billion yuan, with new construction totaling 130,000 square meters. The project will introduce 153 units of Murata 870EX high-speed vortex spinning machines from Japan, along with 359 units of auxiliary spinning preparatory and utility equipment. The project boasts high levels of intelligence, speed, efficiency, wide adaptability to varieties, significant expansion potential, environmental friendliness, short process flows, and high yield rates.

Construction of the project began in November 2024 and is expected to be completed by October 2025. The imported vortex spinning equipment is scheduled for phased delivery to the factory around the 2026 Spring Festival, with normal production expected in the first half of 2026. Upon full completion of the project, it will create a new intelligent and environmentally friendly spinning production chain, with an annual output of 110kt of natural fibers, expected annual sales of 2 billion yuan, and tax contributions of 60 million yuan, achieving a "double harvest" of economic and environmental benefits.
