Indonesia ends investigation into safeguard measures for imported synthetic filament yarns

On September 2, 2024, the WTO Committee on Safeguards issued a notification on safeguards submitted to it by the Indonesian delegation. The Indonesian Committee on Safeguards (KPPI) decided to terminate the safeguards investigation on imported artificial filament yarn starting from August 30, 2024. No safeguards will be implemented. The Indonesian tax numbers of the products involved are 5403.10.00, 5403.31.10, 5403.31.90, 5403.32.90 and 5403.41.90.
