Online retail sales of clothing rise by 5% in Jan-Aug 2024

During Jan to Aug 2024, the online retail sales of goods scored at 9635.2 billion Yuan, up 8.9% year on year, with that of physical goods reaching 8014.3 billion Yuan, up 8.1% year on year. Among the physical goods, retail sales of clothing increased by 5% year-on-year, with that of food and goods increased by 19.1% and 7% respectively.
