China's retail sales of textiles and garments decrease in Jun, 2024

China's retail sales value of consumer goods totaled 4.0732 trillion Yuan in Jun 2024, up 2% year on year. In Jan-Jun 2024, the cumulative retail sales of consumer goods amounted to 23.5969 trillion Yuan, up 3.7% year on year.

In Jun 2024, the retail value of apparel, shoes, hats, knitwear and textiles above designated size was 123.68 billion yuan, down 1.9% year on year. In Jan-Jun, the cumulative retail sales of apparel, shoes, hats, knitwear and textiles above designated size totaled 709.83 billion yuan, up 1.3% year-on-year.

In Jun 2024, the retail value of apparel goods above designated size was 87.33 billion yuan, down 2.2% year-on-year. From January to June, the cumulative retail value of apparel was 515.63 billion yuan, up by 0.8% year-on-year.
