Xingguang Fuxing (Zhoukou) Textile Industrial Park starts construction with total investment of 6 billion yuan

On May 20th, the Xingguang Fuxing (Zhoukou) Textile Industrial Park held a groundbreaking ceremony in Shangshui County. The park covers an area of 1,600mu with a planned total investment of 6 billion yuan. Once the project is fully completed, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of over 30 billion yuan and an annual tax revenue of over 1 billion yuan.

The Xingguang Fuxing (Zhoukou) Textile Industrial Park is a key investment attraction project in Shangshui County, invested and constructed by Xingguang Fuxing Holding Group Co., Ltd. based in Anhui Province. The park is planned to integrate processing, R&D, display, quality inspection, and other aspects of printing, dyeing, and textile products into a high-end intelligent textile industry smart manufacturing park.

Chairman of Xingguang Fuxing Group, Zhang Jinhu, introduced that the project has a total planned investment of 6 billion yuan and covers 1,600mu of land. Currently, 1370mu is planned for the first three phases of construction, with an investment of 4 billion yuan. The phase I project covers 400mu with an investment of around 1.15 billion yuan, a construction area of 320,000 square meters, and a total installation capacity of 10,000 weaving machines. This includes 8,000 water jet looms, 2,000 circular looms, capable of producing 250 million meters of high-density advanced protein textile fibers and high-end chemical fiber fabrics annually, with an expected annual output value of 3 billion yuan and an annual tax revenue of 150 million yuan. The phase II will increase apparel processing capacity by 50 million pieces, and phase III will focus on textile clothing, high-end dyeing and finishing, and wastewater treatment projects.

In 2024, an investment of over 500 million yuan is planned to complete the main construction of the phase I project, with some workshops expected to start production within the year. Upon completion of the entire project, the park is expected to achieve an annual output value of over 30 billion yuan and an annual tax revenue of over 1 billion yuan.

It is reported that the textile and apparel industry is a key industry in Zhoukou City, and one of the 28 modern industrial chains with a target output value of over 100 billion yuan in the province. According to statistics, the textile and apparel industry in Zhoukou ranks first in the province with an annual output value of around 70 billion yuan, accounting for about a quarter of the total output in the province.
