China's August styrene import down 11.5% from July

According to China Customs, China imported 66.2kt styrene in Aug, 2023, down 8.6kt or 11.5% month on month, but up 1.3kt or 2% year on year. In the first eight months of 2023, total styrene import was 651kt, down 57.3kt or 8.09% from the same period last year.

China exported 34kt styrene in Aug, 2023, up 1kt or 3.04% month on month, and down 13.9kt or 28.95% year on year. In the first eight months of 2023, total styrene export was 273kt, down 247kt or 47.45% from the same period last year.
