Groundbreaking of Risung High-end Polyamide New Material Project

On September 26th, the groundbreaking ceremony for Risung High-end Polyamide New Material Project of Risun Group was held in Yuncheng. Zhang Lun, the Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Heze Municipal Committee, attended the ceremony.

This project refers to Yuncheng Risun Tianchen New Materials Co., Ltd., with an annual output of 200,000 tons of nylon 66 new materials. On August 31st, the Ecological Environment Bureau of Heze City publicly accepted the environmental impact assessment for the project. Risun Tianchen New Materials Co., Ltd. was established in July 2021 with a registered capital of 300 million yuan and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Risun Group.

According to previous reports, Risun Group has introduced a state-owned enterprise as its strategic partner and will cooperate with it to produce adiponitrile using its unique domestic technology. The plan includes jointly building a 300kt/year adiponitrile plant, a 600kt/year nylon 66 plant, a 60kt/year PBAT plant, and supporting auxiliary facilities.
