Xinjiang Changrun Textile Technology holds the groundbreaking ceremony for spinning and weaving project

Recently, a groundbreaking ceremony was held in the Alar Economic and Technological Development Zone (referred to as the Economic Development Zone) for the spinning and weaving project of Xinjiang Changrun Textile Technology Co., Ltd. The official start of construction for this project marks the substantial phase of investment.

The spinning and weaving project of Xinjiang Changrun Textile Technology Co., Ltd. plans to invest a total of 1.18 billion yuan, constructing 300,000 spindles of combed ring-spun and compact-spun yarn and 300 sets of air-jet looms on a 351-mu site. After the completion of the project, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of 1.8 billion yuan and an annual tax revenue of over 60 million yuan, while creating employment opportunities for more than 1,300 people.

In recent years, the Economic Development Zone has successfully attracted a large number of excellent textile and apparel companies by leveraging its abundant cotton resources, preferential policy advantages, and quality services. Currently, there are 52 textile and apparel companies settled in the Economic Development Zone, including 28 large-scale enterprises. The zone has built nearly 1.9 million spindles of yarns, 5,557 sets of weaving machines, 2,484 sets of sock machines, and has an annual capacity of 340kt of viscose fiber and 300kt of polyester filament yarn. It has also established an annual capacity of 20kt of towels, over 200 million pairs of socks, and 165kt of dyeing and finishing capacity, forming a complete industrial chain.
