China crude oil and natural gas import growth keeps fast in Jun
According to China National Bureau of Statistics and China Customs, in the first half of 2023, China's crude oil output reached 105.05 million tons, up 2.1% on year, and imported about 282.08 million tons of crude oil, up 11.7% on year. Crude oil inputs to refineries reached 363.58 million tons in H1 2023, up 9.9% on year. In Jun 2023, crude oil output was 17.52 million tons, up 1.9% on year; and crude oil imports reached 52.06 million tons in Jun, up 45.4%.
Natural gas output growth was steady and import growth was fast in H1 2023. The output reached 115.5 billion m3 in the first half of 2023, up 5.4% on year. China imported 56.63 million tons of natural gas in H1 2023, up 5.8% on year; and the import volume was 10.39 million tons in Jun, up 19.61% on year.
