South Korea suspends anti-dumping investigation on China-oriented polyester yarn

The South Korea Trade Commission issued notice No. 2023-8 (case investigation No. 23-2022-6) on June 22, 2023, stating that in view of the application for withdrawal of the anti-dumping investigation submitted by the applicant on April 25, 2023, it had decided to terminate the anti-dumping investigation against oriented polyester filament partially oriented yarn, POY, or pre-oriented yarn, originating in China and Malaysia. The Korean tax code of the product involved is 5402.46.9000.

On February 24, 2023, the South Korea Trade Commission issued notice No. 2023-3, in response to the application submitted by the Korea Chemical Fiber Association on December 27, 2022, to launch an anti-dumping investigation on oriented polyester yarns originating in China and Malaysia.
