Japan's textile and apparel import grow slightly y-o-y in March

The latest data show that in March, Japan imported 232kt of textiles and garment, up 0.1% year on year and 41% month on month. Those from China toppled 125kt, increasing by 1.9% year-on-year and 64.4% month-on-month.

In terms of import value, Japan's textile and apparel imports in March reached 416.66 billion yen, and the import value of apparel was 303.29 billion yen, increasing by 19.3% and 22.4% respectively. It can be seen that Japan's textile and garment import growth picked up.
