Shandong Borui New Materials to build 25 PBAT & PBS biodegradable project

On March 27, the People's Government of Yangxin County issued an environmental information announcement (EIA) for the biodegradable materials project of Shandong Borui New Materials Co., Ltd.

It is understood that the project covers a total area of 80 mu and will build 2 production lines of degradable materials (PBAT, PBS shared production line), 1 production line of succinic acid (anhydride), etc. The project is supported by the purchase of towers, reactors, heat exchangers, material-liquid pumps, storage tanks and other equipment.

After the completion of the project, it will reach the annual production scale of 20,000 tons of PBS/PBAT, 0.5 million tons of PBS/PBAT, 0.3 million tons of succinic acid (anhydride) and 0.22 million tons of tetrahydrofuran as a by-product.

Shandong Borui New Materials Co., Ltd. was founded on October 21, 2022, registered in Binzhou City, Shandong Province. The business scope includes sales of chemical products, special chemical products, petroleum products, and synthetic materials; manufacturing of special chemical products, basic chemical raw materials, synthetic materials (excluding dangerous chemicals), and petroleum products, etc.
