Zhongtai Markor's Phase IV BDO project gets through the whole process smoothly

On April 6, 2023, as the concentration of formaldehyde solution in the BYD reactor dropped to the target range, BDO products reached the top grade, marking the success of the whole process of the 100kt/year BDO project in the fourth phase of Zhongtai Markor Chemical Industry.

The construction of the project started on July 2, 2021, the machinery was completed on June 30, 2022, the mechanical completion was finished on July 30, 2022, and qualified products were produced on April 6, 2023. It took only 20 months to make a wonderful debut.

It is understood that after the project is put into production, the BDO output of Markor Chemical Industrial Park will reach 400kt/year. The project fully relies on the resource endowment of Xinjiang to transform into industrial competitive advantage.
