5 biodegradable plastic projects in Wuhai, Inner Mongolia

From February 15 to 18, 2023, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Industry and Information Technology Department had viewed on site the progress of construction of five biodegradable plastic projects in Wuhai City:

1. Inner Mongolia Dongjing Biological Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. is constructing an annual output of 200,000 tons of biodegradable materials PBS, 200,000 tons of biodegradable plastic products project, which is expected to be completed in batches in 2023-2024.

2. Inner Mongolia Huaheng Energy Technology Co., Ltd. plans to complete 92,000 tons/year of high-end polyether material PTMEG in May 2023, and put into production 312,000 tons/year of BDO and 184,000 tons/year of PTMEG in October.

3. Inner Mongolia Sanwei New Materials Co., Ltd. is constructing projects with an annual output of 300,000 tons of BDO, 100,000 tons of biodegradable materials PBAT, 60,000 tons of PTMEG, etc., which is expected to be completed in September 2023.

4. Inner Mongolia Junzheng Chemical Co., Ltd. is constructing projects with an annual output of 1 million tons of PBAT/PBS, 600,000 tons of BDO, etc. in three batches, which are expected to be completed in batches from 2023 to 2025.

5. Wuhai Guangjin New Material Co., Ltd. is constructing 300,000 tons of BDO and 300,000 tons of PBAT per year, which is expected to be completed in 2025.
