Zhejiang Huafon plans 600KTA biodegradable PBAT/PPC/film project

On June 28, Zhejiang held the start-up ceremony of the province's steady economic progress and quality improvement, the start-up of the two pioneer projects and the start-up ceremony of the second phase of the Sanmen Nuclear Power Plant. The two pioneer projects include the Zhejiang Huafon's 600kt/year high-performance biodegradable new materials project.

The new high-performance biodegradable new materials project is located in Dingshan Industrial Park, Ruian City, with a total project area of 689.5 mu. It is an expansion based on Huafon Environmental Protection Materials Co., Ltd. 's 30kt/year PBAT and 5kt/year carbon dioxide polyether polyol production project. After the expansion, the total construction area is 555,000 square meters, forming an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of PBAT, 300,000 tons of PPC and 300,000 tons of degradable plastic films. The total investment of the project is 11.8 billion yuan, and the planned construction period is 2022-2026.
