Henan Jindan to build a 60kt/year biodegradable polyester line

On Mar 24, 2021, Henan Jindan Lactic Acid Technology Co.,Ltd. announced to invest 300 million Yuan to build a 60kt/year biodegradable polyester and made-ups project, which is scheduled to produce 60kt of PBAT annually. It is able to produce biodegradable modified materials and biodegradable made-ups after mixed with materials such as PLA and starch.

It will take 18 month for construction and is expected to complete in Sep 2022. This project is located in Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone, Dancheng County, Henan Province, which covers 99.47 mu of land and will adopt general PBAT technology in China.
