H&M’s Arket to open its first store in China
Arket, owned by Swedish fast fashion retailer H&M, is set to open its maiden physical store in China. And it’s going to happen this autumn!
The store, which will be located in the capital city of Beijing, will not only exhibit the best of Arket’s wardrobe staples, but also the exquisite seasonal fashion drops for men and women.
Delighted over the upcoming store launch, Pernilla Wohlfahrt, MD, Arket, said that the brand is eagerly looking forward to finally meeting all its Chinese customers in person.
Pernilla added that the new store will offer an opportunity to Arket to invite the people to feel and experience the rich diversity of its collections – the collections that range from beautiful fabrics and fashion designs to sustainable childrenswear and nature-inspired interiors.
Notably, Arket had already made its digital debut in China last August on Alibaba’s Tmall, and with the launch of a store this autumn, Arket has clearly indicated the relevance of Asian market for the brand.
There are also reports of the brand planning to open a store in South Korea this year, though not much has been revealed on the same as yet.
Started in 2017, Arket is known for its childrenswear and homewares.
