As a professional production enterprise of worsted wool fabrics and wool yarns, Jiangsu Shenzhou Woolen Co., Ltd. was established on the basis of former Jiangsu Shenzhou Woolen Group Company-former National Township Enterprise Group and Star Enterprise of Jiangsu Province. Located in the eastern suburb of Zhangjiagang City (an emerging modern port city), our company now has 140mu (one mu=667sqm) of lands, CNY 210 million of fixed assets, more than 900 employees and a full set of production line involving top dyeing and recombing, spinning, weaving and finishing; meanwhile, our main production equipments are introduced from Italy, France, Germany, Belgium and Japan, etc. Equipped with 35,000spindles and 108 sets of rapier looms, we annually can produce 4.5 million meters of worsted wool fabrics and more than 1,500 tons of worsted yarns. We sold CNY 320 million of products in 2016.

Our company continues to improve the scientific management system and adopts scientific management methods. On the basis of establishment and continued effective operation of ISO9000 quality management system and ISO14001 environmental management system, we have daily production in international standards , so our products obtain the "pure woolen mark" of international wool bureau, European OEKO-Tex Standard 100 eco- textile certification, the "white list qualification " of Textile Industry Association, "brand-name products in Suzhou City", "Brand-name products in Jiangsu Province"; our "Shenzhou" trademark was named "Suzhou City well-known trademarks" and " Jiangsu famous brand ". Due to reliable quality assurance system and excellent product development capabilities, we have successfully become the long-term partner of famous brands and high-end customers, including Swedish H & M, UK Marks and Spencer, TM LEWIN, House of Frazer, United States Brooks Brother, Jos A Bank, Tommy Hilfiger, Korea E Land, ZIO ZIA, Japan Aoyama and so on.

Our company pays long-term attention to the construction of qualified personnel and ability of technological innovation, and owns a technical team consisting of 65 graduates, 16 undergraduates and 5 senior technicians. Up to now, we have carried out personnel training and production-school- research cooperation successively with Shanghai Donghua University, Shanghai Engineering and Technology University, Shanghai Textile Institute, the Australian Federal Industrial Research Institute, Shazhou Vocational College and Xi'an Engineering University, etc. In 2008, we participated in the ATC Australia---China Agricultural Technology Cooperation Project sponsored by Australian government: Australia's ultra-fine wool production and processing technology research, and got "excellent cooperation award"; in 2012, we cooperated with Shanghai Textile Institute and Shazhou Vocational and Technical College to establish "Suzhou ultra-short fiber semi-worsted woven engineering technology research center"; in 2016, we cooperated with Xi'an Engineering University for the establishment of "production-school-research cooperation foundation", "graduate training foundation" and "excellent engineer training base". At the same time, our company focuses on the long-term cooperation with the international authority of this industry: we cooperate with the International Wool Bureau to establish long-term product development, promotion and technology development cooperation; we cooperate with Japanese wool inspection to carry out product testing standards, test methods-based technical exchange activities, and found Constant temperature and humidity standard laboratory; we hire famous Italian fabric designers, French dyeing engineers and other foreign outstanding technical staffs as product & technical consultants; we work with them on the development of products, enhancement of scientific and technological innovation, and training of technology backbone.

In order to enhance the development potential of enterprise, and make enterprise bigger and stronger, Jiangsu Shenzhou Woolen Co., Ltd has set up Shandong Shenzhou Woolen Co., Ltd. In Shandong with a registered capital of CNY 20 million; at the same time, we bought over 270mu (one mu=667sqm) of lands in Linyi County of Shandong Province: with a total investment of CNY 300 million, we are going to build a wool worsted project in three phases of investments; once this project will be completed, it can yearly produce 6 million meters of worsted wool fabrics and 2,000 tons of textile yarns, and achieve more than CNY 500 million of sales revenue. Now, the first stage of spinning plant has been put into production.

Worsted yarn has the feeling of light and soft, flexible, with good extension and drape, natural color, bright, rich, unique style, complete specifications, has successfully launched anti-shrink / mercerized wool series, BASOLAN series, Easy care series and other products, mainly for woven, flat knitting machine, circular machine and socks products.
