1 Introduction of bamboo fiber

  Bamboo fiber is a kind of regenerated cellulose fiber whose cellulose fiber comes from bamboo.

2 Character of bamboo fiber:

Except all the advantages of cellulose fiber, bamboo fiber has its own specific character as follow:

(1) highly water absorbent, and fast drying

 Because of the structure of the individual bamboo fibers(long hollow tubes),bamboo textiles are highly absorbent, and have a strong wicking action for fast drying. Bamboo towels absorb as much as three times the water as a similar weight cotton towel, and dry tiwice as fast. It is called breathable fiber.

(2)Supersoft

The structure of bamboo fiber also makes the bamboo towels amazingly soft as silk, even after repeated washing, they remain softer than the finest cotton towels. According to an October 2006 Consumer Reports article, bamboo towels are 25% softer after laundering, on average, than their all-cotton counterparts.

(3) Naturally anti-microbial

There is a substance, Zhukun,existing in the bamboo fiber, make bamboo fiber anti-microbial. Textiles made from bamboo fibers resist the growth of bacterial, mildew, fungus and other microbes. This means that bamboo towels stay fresher for longer between washings.

(4)Eco-friendly cultivation

Bamboo requires very little attention when grown, and is typically cultivated without the use of herbicides or pesticides. Harvesting bamboo leaves the root of the plant alive, thereby preventing erosion. And bamboo can grow up in one year and become mature in 3-4 years, so the utilization of bamboo will not affect the environment.

3 Important Care Instuctions

To get the most out of your bamboo towels, it is important to follow these care guidelines.

(1)    Machine wash cold on gentle cycle. Tumble dry low

(2)    Dont use bleach or fabric softener.

(3)    Occasionally, you might notice a few loose threads or enlarged loops. Symply trim these to the same levels as the rest of loops with sharp scissors to prevent your towels from being damaged. This is a normal occurrence that is inherent to the bamboo fiber.
