In 1953, a large number of large-scaled textile enterprises were founded by a batch of textile experts from Shanghai. In 1997, Beijing No.1, No.2 and No.3 textile plants were incorporated into Beijing Jingmian Textile Group Co. Now, Jingmian is one of the major textile groups in China with an area of 600,000sqm, 300,000-square-meter workshops, 200 thousand spindles, 1,000 looms and more than 10,000 employees. During the past 50 years, based on abundant strength and an aggressive R&D team, Jingmian continuously launched new products to textile market and pushed the technical innovation in textile industry of China. Products are praised as China Famous Brand Items and are salable in the world markets. On the basis of many years' deep research in Aramide fiber textiles like Nomex, Jingmian Group and partner companies jointly established Beijing Global Technical Textiles Co.
