Originally founded as Sheyang Qiaoyi Textile Mill, Yancheng Qiaoyi Textile Co.,Ltd. is located by the Yellow Sea and the nature reserve for rare animal in the world-red crowned crane. Established in October in 1987, the company was restructured into limited company in May of 2000. The company occupies a total area of 120mu. It has 50,000 spindles and a fixed assets of RMB 88 million. There are 1,300 staff in the company including 168 engineering technicians and 16 salesmen with the educational level of junior college. The company received the ISO9002 international quality system certification in June of 2000. The company, with the self-support import and export authority, is engaged in cotton purchase, processing, managing nd producing cotton yarn and textiles. It mainly produces combing and carding yarn below 60 counts. Yearly production capacity for cotton yarn is 8,500T. It purchases and process 15 7,500,000kg lint. Main product, "Shepeng" brand cotton yarn, is the provincially excellent product. Products are sold to South East Area, US, Japan and Korea etc..
