Xinyuan Cocoon and Silk Group Co., Ltd. is based in Jiangsu Haian, which is known as "the origin of cocoon silk in China". The group consists of 18 branches, 90 cocoon centers and 15 state-held companies, and has developed to be the National Key Leading Agricultural Industrialization Enterprise, Leading Spark Enterprise, and National Leading Specialty Village Enterprise. The company has developed the entire production and marketing system of silkworm egg breeding, mulberry planting and silkworm breeding, cocoon collecting and drying, silk reeling, silk spinning, silk weaving, garment, etc. The quantity of cocoon collecting and drying has stood first on the list in Jiangsu for 28 continuous years and in nation for 6 continuous years.
