Founded in 1971, Lanzhou Xiwei Vinylon Industry Co.,Ltd. (herinafter called LV), subordinate to Gansu Agriculture Cultivating General Company, is the only large-sized manufacturers of vinylon in Northwest China, and one of most important manufacturing base for the chemicals and chemical fiber in Ganshu province, occupying an areage of 646,000sqm, in which 202,000 is devoted to construction area. LV is located in the upper reaches of the Yellow River along the bank. It has special raillines, to connect with the Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway and the Lanzhou-Qinghai Railway to the south and roads and the lanzhou-Xinjiang Highway and the Lanzhou-Qinghai Highway to the north, and it's only 45km awary from the Langzhou, the capital city of Gansu Province.
