The means of Bodie's Antibacterial fiber is putting a special nano-antibacterial agent into the PET melt processing in the production process. The combination of antibacterial agents and enzymes in bacteria makes the bacteria loss activity, thus inhibiting its further propagation.

3. Antibacterial Mechanism:
Many metal ions have a role in bactericidal mold and bactericidal activity of metal ions decrease in the following order:
Ag>Hg>Cu>Cd>Cr>Ni>Pb>Co>Zn>Fe.
As a result of Ag, Cd, Pb and cr’s toxicity, in practice, Inorganic fungicides mainly used the metal Ag, Cu and Zn. The disinfection ability of Ag is larger than Cu and Zn. Bactericidal effect of Ag relates with its state. Bactericidal activity of Ag ions reduced by the following: Ag3+>Ag2+>Ag1+.
