Boxwoods are evergreen shrubs or small trees with small and leathery leaves but insignificant flowers, which require long growing time. Though it is very short,
yet it is very hard. It only reaches 3 meters after 40 to 50 years and the diameter
of it is also no more than 10 centimeters. Because it's difficult to grow to
big trees and have limitation of material, it is often considered as superior woods.
With the wood texture smooth and full of quality sense, it is a perfect material
for wood cutting and making natural buttons.
